Smoked Salmon Alfredo

Nothing beats good old, home made, comfort food. Indulge yourself with authentic, wild caught, Alaskan smoked salmon, delighting your palate with the cheesy, savory comforts of this creamy Smoked Salmon Alfredo recipe.






serves 4       time: 25-30 min

Ingredients

2 T chopped onion

¼ c butter

½ Kodiak Island Smokehouse Smoked Salmon chopped (click here to purchase)

½ c diced tomatoes

2 T chopped parsley

2 ½ c  Heavy whipping cream

16 oz package of  fettuccine noodles

salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

In a large sauce pan add enough water to fill ¾ of the way full, add about 1 T of salt to the water, cover and turn the heat on high. After the water comes to a boil add the pasta and cook till tender, drain and hold aside to add to the sauce when its finished.

Mean while, melt butter in a large deep fry pan over med high heat. Add the onions and saute until the onions turn translucent or become clear looking, about 2 minutes.

Add Kodiak Island Smokehouse smoked salmon pieces and saute on med low another 2 minutes.

Slowly add the cream while stirring. Continue stirring over med heat until the sauce thickens to your liking.

Add some salt and pepper starting with 1 t of each. Then taste the sauce and continue adding salt and/or pepper till you like the flavor.

Add the tomatoes and parsley, then mix in your pasta and serve hot.
