looking for a creative recipe for smoked salmon the why not think pizza? If they can make peanut butter and jelly pizza, chocolate chip pizza, macaroni and cheese, hot dog crusted pizza then, why not make a smoked salmon pizza? If anything, I think that smoked salmon is the best thing to ever happen to pizza since the pepperoni. Just sayin'.

Did I mention this smoked salmon pizza is totally kid approved? Just go ask my three year old what he thought after inhaling three whole pieces. That's a lot of food for such a little tummy! He enjoyed every bite, and I know you will too.

Ingredients-

-1 cup cherry tomatoes (cut in half or whole)

-1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

-4 oz Kodiak Island Smokehouse Smoked salmon

Cream Cheese pizza sauce

-1/4 cup cream cheese

-2 tbs dill

-1 tsp minced garlic

-1 tsp pepper

-1 tsp salt

-2 tbs chopped capers

-1/4 cup chopped red onion

Instructions-

First, prepare and bake your pizza dough according to its instructions, being sure to remove from oven a few minutes before completely done and set aside to cool.

While your crust is cooling, begin preparing your cream cheese pizza sauce.

In a bowl, mix your cream cheese, dill, garlic, pepper, salt, chopped capers and red onion. Once everything is completely blended, start evenly painting your pizza crust with it.

Once you have a thick and even layer on your crust, start flaking the smoked salmon onto the crust, distributing the fish pieces evenly across the pizza. Now you can start sprinkling on the remaining toppings, saving the cheese for last.

Lastly, bake your pizza for the remaining couple of minutes or until the cheese has completely melted and the crust is golden brown.
